I saw a post a few hours ago and I got fed up with it. So I took my extra one and decided to stick it in the oven and try it tonight. 15 minutes later it was apart cleanly. I VERY sloppily sanded off the letters, stuck in my indiglo I got long ago and powered it up. Perfect. I can KICK myself for not taking my time...I was skeptical it'd be so easy, but it only took me 30 minutes minus the oven time. Oh, and it was already OFF the car, so add a few minutes to remove it and 20 more to wire it up and drill the small hole for the wires. In essence, less than 90 minutes. So why could I kick myself? Because I didn't do it CLEAN...I cracked an edge and oversanded. But I put some electrical tape over the oversanded areas to take the pic. I'm SO pleased with it, I'm thinking about doing my JSPEC one TONIGHT...it's 1 friggen AM and I have to work at 7am. But, I've been the sole advocate for this thing for over a YEAR (the altia one and getting one in general). Now, it's so close I can't wait! I don't mind losing the red lettering since it makes it WHITE the way I do it (which matches my car...it will look slick). Anyway, NO I can't make you one and NO I am not posting all my install pics until it's done :) But be patient. By the way, the red is the light on the camera.
